Después de dos años de trabajo, la agencia Venables Bell & Partners abandona su preciada cuenta de Intel. Ahora, DDB se encargará de representar a la empresa fabricante de chips semiconductores. Todavía no queda claro qué oficina de DDB se encargará de realizar todas las creaciones para la empresa, pero lo que sí se conoce es que ya se encuentran en producción nuevos spots.
Los primeros trabajos de DDB serán lanzados a partir del tercer trimestre de este año. Aunque Intel no pretende cambiar de enfoque, ni de imagen, DDB tendrá que seguir apostando por el humor dentro de los spots de Intel. Esta no es la primera vez que la compañía americana dedicada a la fabricación de chips. Luego de que a finales del año pasado realizaran creatividades para esta empresa, la decisión por el cambio de agencia se veía venir, afirman fuentes cercanas.
La campaña “Sponsors of tomorrow” es la primera de la empresa que no apuesta por productos específicos sino por la imagen en general. Aunque esta campaña inició en manos de su anterior agencia, DDB será la responsable continuar con esta campaña que según Intel se mantendrá vigente por unos cinco años más.
